This article explains how the Spaace Ambassador Leaderboard works, who can participate, how rankings are determined, and how rewards are distributed.
What is the Spaace Ambassador Leaderboard?
The Spaace Ambassador Leaderboard is a competitive ranking system reserved for approved Spaace Ambassadors.
Its goal is to reward Ambassadors who actively contribute to the growth of the Spaace ecosystem by referring active users, driving marketplace activity, creating social visibility, and engaging with Spaace features.
Participants are ranked based on a single global score.
Only the top-ranked Ambassadors receive rewards.
Who can participate?
Only users with the Ambassador status are eligible.
If you are not an Ambassador, you can apply .
If you are an approved ambassador, you are automatically eligible for all active leaderboards. No additional registration is required.
The leaderboard is only visible to logged-in Ambassadors.
How to become a Spaace Ambassador
To apply, fill out the Ambassador application form on Spaace here.
Applications are reviewed manually.
If the application is complete and meets the requirements, a response is usually provided within few days.
Can an ambassador be removed from the program?
Yes. The Ambassador status is not permanent.
An Ambassador may be removed in the following cases:
Fraud or abuse, including social media botting, artificial engagement, or spam
Lack of activity, such as no new content or no referred users over a prolonged period
In case of confirmed abuse, the user may be excluded from the program and permanently blacklisted.
Only one account per user is allowed.
Leaderboard Epochs
Leaderboard epochs run over defined periods.
When an epoch is live, the end date is clearly displayed.
Epochs are not announced in advance.
Rankings update during the active period.
At the end of the period, rankings are frozen and archived.
Leaderboard Epoch Rewards
Each leaderboard runs for a defined period and includes a dedicated reward pool.
Rewards are:
Paid in $SPAACE tokens
Reserved for the top-ranked ambassadors only
Allocated based on final leaderboard position
Only ambassadors who finish inside the reward zone receive token rewards.
The higher your final rank, the larger your reward allocation.
Top positions receive a significantly higher share of the reward pool.
Reward pools are communicated in USD for clarity, but payouts are made in $SPAACE tokens once the token goes live.
There is no automatic distribution at the end of a leaderboard period. Final rankings are archived and used for future reward settlement.
How rankings and score work
Each ambassador receives a single global score between 0 and 1000.
This score is recalculated regularly during the leaderboard period and determines your rank and whether you are inside the reward zone.
The score is relative to the performance of other ambassadors participating in the leaderboard.
This means that if you completely neglect one of the ranking criteria, you cannot reach a score of 1000.
Your score can go down over time if other ambassadors improve faster than you, even if your own activity remains unchanged
Only the final score and rank are visible.
If an ambassador has no activity for a given criterion during the period, the score for that criterion is 0.
Ranking criteria
Rankings are based on five criteria, all measured during the active leaderboard period.
The first three criteria are the main ranking drivers. The last one has a significantly lower impact.
Primary criteria:
Referral volume: The total marketplace trading volume generated by users you referred during the leaderboard period.
New active referred users: The number of referred users who joined Spaace during the epoch period.
Social visibility and mindshare: An internal score imported reflecting your reach and distribution on social platforms during the leaderboard period.
Secondary criteria:
Personal trading volume: Your own trading activity on the Spaace marketplace during the leaderboard period.
XP and ecosystem activity: Your engagement across Spaace features, quests, and ecosystem mechanics during the leaderboard period.
All ranking criteria are refreshed multiple times per hour during the epoch period. The social visibility score is updated less frequently, at least once per day.
Rewards and payouts
Epoch rewards are communicated in USD and paid in $SPAACE tokens.
The amount you receive depends on your final rank. Only a limited number of top-ranked ambassadors receive rewards.
Rewards are distributed when the $SPAACE token goes live. There is no automatic payout at the end of a leaderboard period.
Referral rewards in ETH
The Ambassador Leaderboard does not replace the referral program.
As an ambassador, you continue to benefit from:
Up to 50% of marketplace fees paid in ETH, depending on your Battle Pass rank
10% of the XP earned by your referred users
No cap on referral rewards
Real-time ETH payouts
Referral rewards and leaderboard rewards are independent and can be earned in parallel.

Your leaderboard score is relative to other ambassadors.
This means your score depends not only on your own activity, but also on how other ambassadors perform during the same period.
Example:
Day 1
You generate 5 ETH in referral volume during the current leaderboard period.
At that time, you are the top performer for this criterion, so your score is at 100% on referral volume, giving you a strong contribution to your global score.
Day 2
Your referral volume stays at 5 ETH, but another ambassador generates 50 ETH in referral volume.
Your relative position on this criterion drops to 10%, which reduces the number of points you receive from referral volume, even though your own activity did not decrease.
The same logic applies to all ranking criteria.
The best way to maintain or improve your score is to compete across multiple criteria and stay active throughout the period, rather than focusing on a single metric.

The social visibility score is updated less frequently, but at least once per day.
Because updates happen continuously, your rank and score may change during the period.
